Adam Giles Levy, with his sensational voice and visceral stage presence, is an amalgam of wild blues and dark roots. Hailing from Frimley Green, England, Adam is also an intriguing guitarist, whose self-taught style, echoes the UK’s rich fingerstyle heritage while remaining firmly his own. Not shy of using his lyrics to reflect on humanity’s big questions, Adam’s emotionally charged and unapologetic live show has earned him the call to support such class acts as Newton Faulkner, Mike Dawes, Noah Gundersen, Baskery and Steve Hackett of Genesis.

Adam has been operating under the radar for some time now. To date, he has released one indie label backed LP, “Wake of Disarray” (Hillside Global, 2022) and self-published two EPs; “Unravelled” (2016) and “Peninsula” (2018), played in eight different European countries and performed at festivals all over Europe and the UK, including Jazztage (Germany), Pordenone Blues Festival (Italy), (a)phonica (Spain) and Weyfest (England). Adam has also received airplay on BBC Introducing Surrey & Sussex, BBC Introducing The West, national stations Radio 3, Catalunya Radio, iCat and SER in Spain, performed live on Spanish national TV channel RTVE 2 and appeared in publications including Classic Rock, Time Out and Mondosonoro.

Adam’s 2022 debut album, “Wake of Disarray” which lives, sonically at least, at the intersection between 2014 Robert Plant, the guitar wizardry of John Martyn, the raw energy of Rival Sons and the subtleties of Agnes Obel was released on Birmingham based independent label, Hillside Global, and sees his receive his first credit as a co-producer. The album sound is organic, with more than a hint of the seventies studio vibe. Think of this album as a lucky dip where you get something great each time you put your hand in. From the rocking roots of “Wild Earth”, to the left-field blues of “Love Not Rage”, to the solemn story telling of “The Fall” to the ancestral “Raven’s Eyes”, this album is a journey best experienced in one sitting, from its howling start, to its dreamy end.
