Gather round folks, punks, lovers and all things grand.
Two of Australia's premier punk troubadours Ed Barnes and Blake Cateris have locked arms to tour the U.K. Making their Britain debut with bells of love, atmospheric charm and two acoustic guitars.
Both widely renowned across Australia within punk rock mosh pits and inner city folk circles for their knack for storytelling, heartfelt lyrics and big choruses, it was only a matter of time until they brought their intimate shows to the United Kingdom.
Meeting in their late teens through the punk boroughs of Sydney, the two have never before toured together, making this event a larger than life opportunity for the duo.
With Blake Cateris' debut EP "One Foot On The Platform" due for July and Ed Barnes' debut album "Hey, Noel" for September, be sure to seize the opportunity to see them so intimate whilst you can.
ED BARNES is a mid-wave Australian singer-songwriter, with songs that are inspired by his everyday fiver senses, his natural sense of storytelling would be his sixth. Often timid and observant in person, yet happy to sing out his feeling off his rooftop, his charismatic performances never offer disappointment. His debut album "Hey, Noel" is due for release in late 2022, recorded and produced in a blue mountains solar powered studio by Chris Gillespie and mastered by famed punk troubadour Frank Turner.

BLAKE CATERIS plays a blend of folk, punk & melody intertwined with angst which is channeled through his acoustic guitar, he draws inspiration from songwriters like Frank Turner, Butch Walker, Dave Hause & Laura Jane Grace and creates social commentary through a postmodernist lens on many of the issues and hardships experienced by the everyday person in the 21st century. Blake has frequently appeared at Sydney’s Get Folked Punk nights/livestreams, has just wrapped up is first national solo tour and has shared stages with Danny Worsnop (Asking Alexandria), CJ Ramone, Bodyjar, The Hard-Ons, Gyroscope & The Getaway Plan.
