Luke Flear is a UK country-rock singer and songwriter who was born and raised in Leeds, England. He has been playing music since he was three years old, when he started with the drums. He later learned to play guitar, piano, bass and banjo, and became a multi-instrumentalist. He has been performing original music and covers in various venues across the UK and Ireland since he was 15, and has released several singles and an album that he wrote and recorded himself . Luke Flear is a fan of classic country music, and cites Dwight Yoakam, Johnny Cash, Willie Nelson and Dolly Parton as some of his influences. He also draws inspiration from modern country artists like Lady A, Little Big Town, Chris Stapleton and Brett Young.
